The agreement governing your use of the InlightiReads™ platform, operated by HAM Insight Solutions, LLC.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HAM Insight Solutions, LLC ("Company," "we," "us") governing your use of InlightiReads™ ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a library, school, or school district, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
InlightiReads™ is an AI-powered children's literacy platform that generates original, personalized stories for readers in grades 1–8. The Platform is operated by HAM Insight Solutions, LLC and made available to public libraries and schools under separate subscription agreements.
Story generation is powered by the Anthropic Claude AI model. All generated content is subject to content filtering, but we do not guarantee that every story will meet every user's expectations.
Library patrons may access the Platform using a valid library card barcode issued by a participating library. Access is limited to patrons of libraries that have active subscriptions to the Platform.
Students may access the Platform using a class code issued by their teacher. Teachers and administrators must have accounts created by an authorized school administrator.
The Platform is designed for children ages 6–14. Children under 13 accessing the Platform through a school do so under the institutional consent model. Library access is anonymous and requires no account creation.
You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose — generating and reading age-appropriate literacy content. You agree NOT to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user or institution that violates these Terms without prior notice.
Stories generated by InlightiReads™ are created by an artificial intelligence model. You acknowledge that:
If you encounter a story with inappropriate content, please report it to your library administrator or contact us at [email protected].
The Platform, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by HAM Insight Solutions, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use generated stories for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. You may print or share individual stories for classroom or home reading use. You may not use generated stories for commercial purposes or represent them as human-authored without disclosure.
Topic selections and other inputs you provide remain your property. By submitting inputs, you grant us a limited license to use them solely to generate your story and improve our content filtering and safety systems.
Access to InlightiReads™ for institutions is provided under separate subscription agreements. Individual patron and student access is provided at no charge as part of the institution's subscription. There are no direct fees charged to library patrons or students.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will always be appropriate for your specific needs. AI story generation depends on third-party services and may be unavailable during outages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HAM Insight Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or harm to reputation.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by your institution for the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HAM Insight Solutions, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion. Institutions may terminate their subscription in accordance with their subscription agreement.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify institutional administrators of material changes by email or Platform notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration in New York, New York, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
